StarAgeless is a health and wellness application designed to help you record your nutrition, understand your health trends, track changes over time, and receive personalized guidance.

We understand that health-related information is among the most personal information a person can share.

Your nutrition records, body information, weight changes, activity patterns, and related health information reflect your lifestyle and personal health journey. Protecting this information and respecting your control over your data are fundamental principles behind how we design and operate StarAgeless.

Data protection is a core responsibility of StarAgeless.

Our approach includes:

  • Collecting only information necessary to provide our services;
  • Minimizing unnecessary data collection and retention;
  • Prioritizing local processing and local storage where appropriate;
  • Explaining how information is used;
  • Carefully selecting and managing third-party service providers;
  • Continuously improving our privacy and security practices.

Data security is not an additional feature. It is one of the principles that guides the long-term development of StarAgeless.

StarAgeless does not sell your personal information.

We do not:

  • Sell your health information;
  • Use health-related information for advertising profiles;
  • Use your personal information for commercial data trading.

During the Launch phase, StarAgeless follows a local-first approach.

Your daily health records and food records are primarily stored on your device. Cloud services are primarily used for account authentication, service operation, subscription management, analytics, diagnostics, and features you actively request, such as AI-powered recognition and search. We do not operate by default as a centralized cloud database containing your complete health profile and food history.

2. Information We Collect

To provide StarAgeless features, we may process the following categories of information.

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account or use third-party sign-in options, we may process:

  • Authentication-related information provided through Apple or Google sign-in.

We use this information to:

  • Create and manage your account;
  • Maintain your signed-in experience;
  • Provide account-related services;
  • Associate subscription benefits with your account.

Account authentication is supported by a third-party identity service provider (currently Supabase Auth).

During the Launch phase, StarAgeless does not store your complete health profile or food history as a centralized cloud database.

2.2 Body Information, Goals, and Dietary Preferences

To provide personalized guidance, you may choose to provide information such as:

  • Date of birth;
  • Biological sex;
  • Height;
  • Current weight;
  • Goal weight;
  • Body fat percentage;
  • Activity level;
  • Training habits;
  • Health and nutrition goals;
  • Dietary preferences or restrictions, such as allergies or foods you choose to avoid.

We use this information to:

  • Confirm that you meet our age requirement;
  • Calculate personalized nutrition targets;
  • Provide energy and nutrition-related guidance;
  • Display progress and trends;
  • Help support food logging based on your dietary needs.

For example, body fat percentage may be used in body composition-related calculations and may influence nutrition targets such as protein recommendations.

Your date of birth is used for age eligibility and personalization purposes. We do not disclose specific calculation formulas in this Privacy Policy.

This information is not used for:

  • Advertising targeting;
  • Sale to third parties;
  • Building commercial user profiles.

2.3 Food, Weight, and Activity Records

When you use StarAgeless, we may process:

2.4 Search, Barcode, and Food Identification

When you use food search:

  • Search requests are sent to our food search services;
  • The information is used to return matching food results.

When you use barcode scanning:

  • We first search available food data sources;
  • If no match is found, we may request information from third-party food databases to help identify the product.

During the Launch phase, Open Food Facts may be used as a source for unmatched product lookup.

2.5 AI Photo Food Recognition

AI Photo helps you record food more efficiently using images.

When you actively use AI Photo:

  • Images you select are sent from your device to StarAgeless processing services;
  • Images are analyzed by artificial intelligence services;
  • Recognition results are returned to the application;
  • You can review and modify results before saving a record.

AI Photo may involve:

  • Images you choose to upload;
  • AI-generated recognition results;
  • Technical information required to complete recognition.

During the Launch phase:

  • StarAgeless does not create a long-term user photo library;
  • StarAgeless does not use your photos to train our own AI models;
  • AI requests are not stored as a StarAgeless training dataset;
  • Original images are used only to complete the recognition request you initiate.

AI recognition is supported by third-party providers, currently including:

  • Google Gemini (primary recognition service);
  • OpenAI (fallback recognition service).

We take steps to reduce unnecessary data retention and configure these services according to product requirements.

Third-party providers may process limited information according to their own security, legal, or abuse prevention requirements.

2.6 App Usage, Analytics, and Diagnostics

To maintain reliability and improve the StarAgeless experience, we may collect:

  • App version information;
  • Basic device and application information;
  • Crash information;
  • Performance metrics;
  • Feature usage information.

We use this information to:

  • Fix issues;
  • Improve performance;
  • Maintain application stability;
  • Understand feature usage.

This information is not used for advertising tracking.

Some analytics services may infer approximate location information from network data, such as country or city-level information.

StarAgeless:

  • Does not request GPS permissions;
  • Does not access precise location data;
  • Does not provide real-time or precise location-based features.

2.7 Feedback and Support

If you contact us voluntarily, such as:

  • Sending feedback;
  • Reporting an issue;
  • Requesting support;

we may process the information you provide to respond and assist you.

During the Launch phase:

  • Feedback is sent through your email client to support@starageless.com;
  • We do not automatically upload diagnostic logs or device files.

2.8 Subscription and Purchase Information

If you purchase a StarAgeless subscription, we may process:

  • Subscription status;
  • Purchase verification information;
  • Information required to restore purchases.

Payments are processed through platforms such as the Apple App Store.

StarAgeless uses services such as RevenueCat to help manage subscription entitlements.

Deleting your StarAgeless account does not delete transaction records maintained by Apple or RevenueCat.

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use information we process for the following purposes.

3.1 Providing Core Features

We use information to provide StarAgeless features, including:

  • Saving and displaying your records;
  • Generating nutrition targets;
  • Showing trends and progress;

  • Completing AI Photo, search, and barcode features that you actively request.

to:

  • Identify and fix issues;

  • Improve application reliability and user experience.

We do not use your food photos to train StarAgeless proprietary AI models.

3.4 Managing Subscriptions

We use information necessary to:

  • Verify subscription entitlements;

Certain data processing may involve the following services:

Supabase

Used for:

  • Account authentication;
  • Service operation;
  • Backend processing required for features you actively request.

Firebase

Used for:

  • Product analytics;
  • Crash reporting;
  • Performance monitoring;
  • Feature configuration.

RevenueCat

Used for:

  • Subscription management;
  • Subscription entitlement verification.

AI Service Providers

Used for:

  • AI Photo food recognition.

Apple

Used for:

  • Application distribution;
  • Payment processing;
  • Reading Apple Health data when you authorize access.

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.

6. Data Security

StarAgeless understands the importance of protecting health-related information.

Your food records, body information, and health-related data reflect your personal lifestyle and health journey. Protecting this information is a fundamental responsibility of StarAgeless.

We consider data protection throughout our product design, including:

  • Reducing unnecessary data collection;
  • Prioritizing local processing and local storage where appropriate;
  • Limiting access to information;
  • Carefully selecting infrastructure and service providers;
  • Continuously reviewing and improving security practices.

Protecting user data is one of the core principles that guides the long-term development of StarAgeless.

No method of transmission, storage, or processing can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We work to protect information within our control using appropriate safeguards and practices.

7. Data Sharing

StarAgeless does not sell your personal information.

We do not:

  • Sell health information;
  • Use health information for advertising targeting;
  • Create commercial advertising profiles based on your personal information.

To operate our services, we may share limited information with necessary service providers, including for:

  • AI Photo requests;
  • Subscription verification;
  • Crash and performance analysis;
  • Service operation.

We provide only the information necessary for the relevant function.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users, StarAgeless, or the security of our services.

8. Apple Health

If you choose to connect Apple Health:

StarAgeless only accesses the data types that you explicitly authorize.

During the Launch phase, StarAgeless reads:

  • Weight;
  • Steps.

StarAgeless:

  • Does not write data to Apple Health;
  • Does not modify data stored by Apple Health.

You can disable access at any time through your device settings.

Deleting your StarAgeless account does not delete health data stored by Apple Health.

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your StarAgeless account.

When processing an account deletion request, we will handle information within our control, including:

  • Your StarAgeless account information;
  • Application data;
  • Related local records and settings.

Because different systems and service providers have different data processing cycles, we do not promise a fixed deletion timeframe.

We process deletion requests within a reasonable period based on the applicable systems and circumstances.

The following information is generally not automatically deleted when you delete your StarAgeless account:

  • Apple App Store transaction records;
  • RevenueCat subscription records;
  • Apple Health data;
  • Information retained by third-party services according to their own policies;
  • Files or exports that you have already copied outside StarAgeless.

10. Data Export

StarAgeless supports exporting some of your data.

Current exports may include:

  • Some food records;
  • Some weight records;
  • Some application settings.

Export functionality does not represent a complete copy of all personal data stored across every system or service.

11. Your Choices

You can control:

  • Whether to create an account;
  • Whether to provide body information and goals;
  • Whether to connect Apple Health;
  • Whether to use AI Photo;
  • Whether to use search and barcode features;
  • Whether to send feedback;
  • Whether to export data;
  • Whether to request account deletion.

Subscription management is handled through your Apple account.

12. Age Requirement

StarAgeless is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.

Users under 18 may not use the service.

We use the date of birth you provide to confirm age eligibility. We do not require government identification verification.

13. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our product, legal requirements, or data practices change.

If we make significant changes, we may notify you through appropriate methods, such as:

  • In-app notifications;
  • Website updates.
